Papermaking

- Oct 17, 2016 -

PAM in papermaking is widely used as a resident agent, degree of filtration aid, both agents. Its role is to improve the quality of the paper, improving slurry dehydration performance, improved fine fiber and filler retention rates, reduce raw materials consumption and pollution to the environment. Used in the paper's effectiveness depends on its molecular weight averages, Ion, ionic strength and activity of other copolymers. Non-ionic PAM is mainly used to improve pulp filtration and dry paper strength, increase fiber and filler retention rate; anionic copolymer mainly used as a wet and dry paper strengthen agents and resident agent cationic copolymer is mainly used for paper-making wastewater treatment and drainage agent, in addition to improve filler retention rate and has a good effect. In addition, PAM in papermaking wastewater treatment and fiber recovery.

Textile printing and dyeing industry

In the textile industry, PAM as a fabric handle sizing agents, finishing agents, can generate soft, wrinkle-resistant, mould-resistant protective coating. Its absorbent characteristics can reduce the outage when spinning; PAM as a fabric finishing agent can prevent static electricity and flame retardants; when used as auxiliaries, may make the product adhesion, high brightness, and can also be used as bleaching of non-Silicon stabilizer for polymer, in addition, can also be used for textile dyeing and printing wastewater by high performance cleaning.
